These custom designed elements transform functional elements into
beautiful focal points

 


Maple-framed sliding doors with rice paper laminated glass opens the master bedroom to the double height living space and upper balcony of the Fayerweather School Renovation.


 



This sunscreen at the Orleans Residence is constructed of acid-etched stainless steel, naturally resistant to the salt water and air.  Mahogany shutters were designed to admit winter sun while blocking harsh summer light.
 


With a strong yet refined presence, smooth pre-cast concrete wall panels anchor the fireplace to the wall of this library in the Orleans Residence.
 


Four different runs of stairs create a seamless harmony of movement at the center of the Orleans Residence. 

The glass staircase and landing bring natural light below to the foyer of the wine cellar.  The stair above leads to an upper sitting room and features a floating tread design.  The main stair is a wide folded wood and steel design cantilevered from the wall.
