Facing the water on a narrow, irregularly shaped lot, the Randa House required a simple and bold strategy to create maximum impact with economy of means.

One early concept was to make a simple glass box with a floating screen, using the layering of materials to manipulate degrees of openness throughout the house.

The selected concept bends the house to elongate the sides of the house that open to water views.
