ORLEANS HOUSE

Lori Sang Hsu: project manager,
design development to construction administration

This 8000 square foot vacation home is a luxurious, modern retreat.

Expansive windows link living spaces to shaded terraces with southern views of the bay. A separate family room, guest cottage, cabana with office tower and outdoor spa extend the house into the landscape.

ROOFTOP RESIDENCE

Lori Sang Hsu: project manager,
schematic design through construction administration

This project involved the renovation of an existing brick warehouse in the Chelsea district of New York City to house this two-story 6000 square foot residence above a retail store at street level.

In the residence, the rooms wrap around a central garden, and walls of windows throughout the house provide ever-changing views of a private urban oasis.

FAYERWEATHER SCHOOL RENOVATION

Lori Sang Hsu: project manager,
schematic design through construction administration

This project converted an existing four-story 13,000 square foot concrete school building into a home for a family of five.

New double-height spaces, compositional window walls, large sliding panels, and earthy materials and colors, introduce texture, warmth and a personal scale to this imposing structure.
